Chief Executive Officer

Martin Bouzaima is with FPG Amentum since 2010. He joined from HSH Nordbank where he worked in the Structuring & Analysis unit of the Aviation Finance group. He also worked in the Corporate Development department of the bank, where he led projects on the bank’s transportation finance strategy as well as bank-wide restructuring projects. Martin previously was in academic research and teaching, working and publishing on topics in portfolio theory and microeconomics while at the Chair of Finance of the University of Koblenz. Martin has a Masters in Economics from University of Bonn and a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from University of Koblenz, Germany.

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Jung founded FPG AIM in January 2012 with FPG as joint venture partner. Since 2012, FPG AIM has grown to become one of the leading JOLCO arrangers globally. He has also helped FPG to buy a 25% stake in Amentum in 2013 and served as non-executive board member on behalf of FPG until FPG bought an additional 50% of Amentum (renamed to FPG Amentum) in 2015. At that time FPG AIM bought a 5% stake in FPG Amentum and he is serving as non-executive board member for FPG Amentum since then. Mr. Jung is also a part time lecturer at Erasmus University, Rotterdam. Mr. Jung has been active in structured asset finance since 1991 and held various positions with ING for 10 years (based in Amsterdam, Dublin, Singapore and Tokyo) and DVB Bank for 5 years (Rotterdam).

Executive Chairman

Jan Melgaard has worked with financing, leasing and investing in commercial jet aircraft throughout his career. Prior to joining FPG Amentum in 2010 Jan was CEO of Nordic Aviation Capital and President/CEO of Volito Aviation (spearheaded a joint venture with Goldman Sachs).

Jan has been an active speaker at several industry events and conferences and has co-authored articles appearing in industry publications such as The Aviation Economist and Airfinance Journal. He received his MBA from Columbia University in New York.

Advisor to the Board

Pat O’Brien retired from KPMG in 2011. For over 30 years, including 24 years as a partner in the firm, he had been a leading tax adviser to the Irish and international aircraft leasing and financing sectors. He joined the Board of FPG Amentum Capital Limited in December 2012 and is also a director of Airspeed Limited, Eirtech Aviation Limited, Rabobank Ireland plc and ACC Bank plc.

Chief Financial Officer

Mitchel Simpson has over 20 years’ experience in the aviation and leasing Industries. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he joined FPG Amentum in 2006 shortly after incorporation overseeing development from captive lessor to full service third party lease manager. Prior to FPG Amentum Mitchel worked in De Lage Landen (part of the Rabobank Group) in a number of roles most recently Head of Structured Asset Finance with responsibility for leasing, product development and debt syndication. He was a member of the senior management team and the credit committee. Mitchel has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Tanimura established Financial Products Group CO., Ltd (FPG) in Nov 2001. Mr. Tanimura has more than 20 years of experience in the field of arranging Japanese tax lease. Prior to establishing FPG, Mr. Tanimura was representative of ING Lease Japan N.V. Tokyo Branch. He also held several positions in Sumisho Lease Co., Ltd (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing Company, Limited). Mr.Tanimura received his Bachelor in Economics from Kwansei Gakuin University in 1983.
